Despite several challenges, this year’s picnic was very successful. The picnic started around noon and ended close to 10.00pm. The day began with beautiful sunshine although there was a threat of rain in the forecast. Fortunately the rain never materialized. It became very windy in the afternoon, which turned out to be the day’s biggest challenge.
There was a very good attendance of past students representing the decades of 1950’s 1960’s, 1970’s, & 1980’s. There was a constant procession of both past students, family and friends throughout the day as people came and went. There was plenty of food, good music, lots to reminiscence about the good old days, and a good time was had by all. Looking forward to seeing everyone in Jamaica for the“ Homecoming” 2008 next year!
