WELCOME

Shortwood Practising School was established on January 17th 1887. In 2007 the shcool turned 120 years old.

Shortwood Practising School has an interesting history dating back to the nineteenth century. The school was started on a property owned by Sir Henry Morgan. It was originally created toprovide educational facilities for the children of the people who worked on his estate. The original building was a stable but this was remodeled and used as a school building.
